Ecovacs Robotics | Redefining Home Cleaning with Technology and Trust


Ecovacs Robotics, a leader in robotic home cleaning solutions, was looking to strengthen its position in the Indian market. Despite the increasing interest in smart home devices, the category of robotic vacuum cleaners was still relatively new in India, and many consumers were uncertain about the technology's reliability and usefulness. Ecovacs needed to build trust with its target audience while also emphasizing the convenience and innovation that its products bring to everyday life.


Our task at Gozoop was to help Ecovacs communicate that their products were not only efficient and reliable but also perfectly suited to the needs of modern Indian households. The key was to shift the perception of robotic vacuum cleaners from being a luxury or a novelty to an essential tool that could make life easier for busy families.


We decided to build the campaign around the concept of trust and innovation, two pillars that are crucial in a market that’s just beginning to embrace smart home technology. To convey these values, we enlisted Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, a well-respected figure known for her approachable and relatable persona. Her presence in the campaign lent credibility and authenticity to the messaging, helping to ease any concerns consumers might have about adopting new technology.


The campaign focused on real-life scenarios where Ecovacs’ robotic vacuum cleaners could make a tangible difference. We crafted commercials that depicted Yami Gautam juggling the demands of a busy lifestyle work, family, and personal time while her Ecovacs robot took care of the cleaning. The messaging was clear: Ecovacs makes home cleaning effortless, allowing you to focus on what truly matters.


Visually, we kept the settings relatable—modern Indian homes that felt warm and lived-in, not overly stylized or futuristic. The goal was to show that these advanced products could seamlessly integrate into everyday life without requiring a major lifestyle shift. The ease of use was emphasized, with Yami casually controlling the robot through an app on her smartphone, further highlighting the product’s user-friendly nature.


The response to the campaign was overwhelmingly positive. By featuring a trusted celebrity like Yami Gautam and showing the product in relatable, everyday situations, we helped demystify the technology and build consumer confidence. The commercials helped shift the perception of robotic vacuum cleaners from a niche product to a practical solution for modern households.


Sales of Ecovacs products saw a significant increase following the campaign, particularly among young professionals and tech-savvy families. The brand also experienced a surge in online engagement, with consumers sharing their own experiences with the product and expressing newfound interest in adopting smart home technology. For Ecovacs, the campaign was a major step in establishing their brand as a leader in home automation in the Indian market.
